As a State and Local Government strategist Jon leads State and Local Government customers in IT and business transformations by applying Dell Technologies solutions, 28+ years of public service IT experience, and a passion for excellent customer service. Prior to coming to Dell Technologies, Jon served as Chief Customer Officer of the North Carolina Department of Information Technology. In his role, he was the executive responsible for the total relationship between DIT and its customers, as well as internal customership across the organization. He also served as the CIO for the Governor’s Office and Lieutenant Governor’s Office. Jon retired with 28.5 years of service to the State of North Carolina.
Jon completed the North Carolina Certified Public Manager program in 2013, the Certified Government Chief Information Officer at UNC Chapel Hill in 2015, and the certified Mediator program in 2016. He was also a member of the US Navy and served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm aboard the USS Eisenhower.
