Dr. Young serves as the Mobility Innovations and Equity team leader at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as well as the Chief Data Officer for the Eastern Transportation Coalition. He has over 30 years of experience in transportation research spanning traffic operations, planning, ITS, and automated mobility. Dr. Young is a graduate of Kansas State University, served in the United States Peace Corps, and has held positions with the Kansas Department of Transportation, University of Maryland Center for Advanced Transportation Technology, and the John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
