Matthew Jacob has worked for the city of Pittsburgh for the past five years. Matthew started in the
Department of Public Works and is now an Enterprise Applications Manager in the city's Department of
Innovation and Performance, managing software systems such as the Victor Stanley Relay smart waste
management system and the city's asset management and permitting programs. He holds a Master’s
degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems
and Public Policy, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Temple University.
