Tom Parisi is the vice president of government sales for Tellabs. In his role, he leads a sales and sales engineering team responsible for supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence agencies, Civilian agencies and State and Local governments. He led the creation and development of the Tellabs government sales organization and is one of the original industry leaders who created the Passive Optical LAN (POL) market segment. Previously at Tellabs, Mr. Parisi was responsible for technical sales of Tellabs’ optical transport and data networking solutions. Prior to Tellabs, Mr. Parisi worked at Booz Allen and Hamilton and held technical positions at International Business Machines (IBM). Mr. Parisi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Washington University.
