Tripp has a 15-year career as a strategy consultant to senior executives and policy makers on issues of climate, energy, and resiliency. His passion is for the variety of ways organizations can accelerate strategy implementation. It generally involves some mixture of executive alignment, stakeholder engagement, and leadership habits to unlock the full potential of a system to achieve its vision for good. Prior to joining ENGIE Impact in 2019, Tripp worked in PwC’s Sustainable Business Solutions practice, the Katzenbach Center for Organizational Culture & Leadership and at Blu Skye Sustainability Consulting. 

Tripp has a passion for the dynamic role urban centers play in mitigating and adapting to climate change while creating wealth and quality of life for its citizens. He draws from the combination of his experience in real estate development, climate change strategy, and stakeholder engagement as well as ENGIE’s capabilities in smart city systems. Recently he supported the City of San Jose in creating Climate Smart San Jose, one of the nation’s first climate action roadmaps to achieving the Paris targets with strategies framed around enhancing the good life for its residents. He lives in Oakland, California and has an MBA from UC Berkeley.
