Monte Lunacek is a computer scientist in the Data, Analysis, and Visualization group within the Computational Science Center at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL). He received his PhD in Computer Science at Colorado State University and is currently interested in optimization, machine learning, and distributed computing, and applying these techniques to problems in wind energy, the electric grid, and transportation.
