Elizabeth Papadopoulos is a professional engineer with 40 years of public sector experience in Oregon. Her work has included a range of transportation and public works positions including Engineering  Manager and Maintenance Director for City of Lake Oswego, District Traffic Operations Manager at City of Portland, and Facilities Manager at TriMet (The Portland area Transit Agency).  She currently works for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), having been hired to handle nonstandard projects including the Region 1 LED Retrofit Project.  A strategic thinker with a strong appreciation for planning,  asset management and long range impacts, she brings a skillset honed for special projects.  “Effective story-telling is the bridge between technical experts and the public we serve. Decision-makers make their best decisions when they and their constituents understand the opportunities and challenges before them.”
