Andrew Feuerborn is the Director of Data & Analytics for the City of Aurora, the 2nd largest city in the State of Illinois. After completing his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Andrew began his professional life as a researcher with the State of IL at the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. Andrew left the State of Illinois to become the City of Aurora’s first Crime Analyst in 1995. In the 24 years Andrew has been with the City, he has filled a number of different IT roles within the Police Department’s (former) Technical Services Division, serving as its Director for 10 years.
Most recently he has been assigned to start up a new Data & Analytics Division within the City’s IT Department. He was assigned as Director of this newly formed Division in 2017. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York, Albany and a Master of Arts Teaching Certification from Aurora University.
