Catherine Miller has worked over 30 years with public safety technology including the last 12½ years with the Montgomery County Police Department as Program Manager of the National Capital Region Law Enforcement Information Exchange Program (NCR-LInX). She has led and continues to oversee a significant growth in this highly complex and high profile law enforcement data sharing system used by thousands of police officers, deputies, investigators, crime analysts, and federal agents. The NCR-LInX Program currently includes over 190 agencies sharing law enforcement data in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia. She works closely with the program sponsor, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), the other 14 LInX Regions around the country, and the FBI’s N-DEx Program. Catherine is a highly respected leader who works closely with local, state, federal, and military law enforcement executives and serves on many committees and task forces providing strategic guidance and recommending policy, planning, technical, and implementation actions for regional and national initiatives including data sharing, advanced analytics, body warn cameras, facial recognition and LPR systems. She is currently a Board member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Information and Technology Section (IACP LEIT) and serves on the IACP CJIS Committee. Catherine holds a Bachelors in Mathematics with Computer Science and a Masters in Technology Management.
