Alexander Braszko is currently serving Kansas City, Missouri as its Chief Innovation Officer under Mayor Quinton Lucas. He has served in this capacity officially since May 1, 2019. Alex has 22+ years active duty experience as a Military Intelligence and Space Operations officer. His extensive background in planning and conducting multi-domain operations using cutting edge technologies in the US Army provides him a unique perspective towards implementing Smart City Initiatives, integrating emerging technologies and innovative methods into municipal operations for complete Digital Inclusion. He views integrating innovative processes and systems, new-but-proven capabilities, and analyzed data into municipal operations as critical components toward improving the quality of life of Kansas Citians. He is also a strong advocate for Data Privacy and Data Transparency in municipal functions. He believes his new mission is an exciting and truly worthwhile one, and considers it an honor to serve Kansas City, his new home in the Heartland.
