As Managing Director of Renewable Customer Solutions and Program Management at Duke Energy, Christy leads the team responsible for structured solutions and asset development for large customers (Cities, Universities, Military, C&I, non-profits), and program development and management for businesses and residential customers across the Duke Energy utilities in NC, SC, FL, IN and KY. Christy is responsible for gaining support of distributed energy investments by the state utility commissions and consumer advocates, financial and tax strategies within the renewables team and business development strategy for Customer Solutions.
Before assuming her current position, Christy spent 15 years in various finance leadership roles at Duke Energy, and predecessor Cinergy.
A native of Cincinnati, Christy earned a degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, OH. She lives in Charlotte, and retreats to the North Carolina mountains whenever possible to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway by bike.
