Todd Frederes is a Solutions Architect in Cisco’s Industry Products Group responsible to bring Cisco Validated Solutions to market. Mr. Frederes joined Cisco in 2006 and started developing Internet of Things (IOT) solutions in 2015. These solutions leverage the intelligence and power of the Cisco portfolio for Digital Buildings and Smart Cities.
Mr. Frederes is focused on smart connected building systems and creating smarter cites. He is a member of BICSI’s Education Advancement Committee, Future Education Needs and Trends sub-committee, Standards Committee member, ICT Installer Committee member, as well as a member of BICSI’s smart building sub-committee.
His technical career began in 1989 as a system integrator and has worked in a number of verticals including manufacturing, energy, healthcare, financial services and transportation. Before joining Cisco, he was a senior network architect for a regional ISP and developed products and managed advanced services to deploy solutions. In his personal time Todd enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with his family.
