Jerry Davis leads NREL’s partnership activities with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Partnership activities focus on both installation and operational energy issues for these agencies. In his role, Jerry is responsible for identifying existing and emerging NREL capabilities to fill technical needs of partners, developing necessary interagency agreements to establish the partnership, and ensuring deliverables meet or exceed partners’ expectations. Before joining NREL, Jerry served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program and led a startup biomass power company in Southern California. He has an MBA from Ohio University, a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy. In his free time, Jerry enjoys trail running and spending time with his family in the mountains.
