David Warren is a preeminent industry leader in the battery-electric and clean propulsion space. He joined New Flyer in 2013 (with the North American Bus Industries or “NABI” acquisition) and leads New Flyer’s sustainable technology strategy, with a specific initial focus on zero emission technologies. David represents New Flyer on technical, industry, and regulatory committees related to clean transportation and evolving technologies, and actively supports transit authorities in the pursuit of public and private grants for low and no-emission propulsions. Prior to New Flyer, David held senior management roles with NABI, overseeing research and development, engineering, field service, and warranty operations. He also has over two decades of executive experience in the medium and heavy duty truck industry, leading aftermarket, service, engineering and product development teams. David holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from California State University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington, and is an accredited Professional Engineer.
