Ignacio Ortiz-Petit is the Chief of Staff to the City Manager for the City of Miami, a municipal organization with over 4,400 employees and a total budget in excess of $1.6 billion.
Prior to his current role at the city, Ignacio has served as a strategic communications, government relations, and policy advisor to C-level executives and elected officials to include current Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez, former City of Miami Mayor Manuel Diaz, and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
Ignacio earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Boston College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. He is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar.
