Lang Reynolds is manager of electric transportation for Duke Energy. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategy with the goal of increasing adoption of electric transportation throughout all six of Duke Energy’s electric service territories. Electric transportation technologies covered by his team include on-road light duty electric vehicles (EV) as well as medium and heavy-duty applications, along with non-road applications such as material handling and refrigerated trailers.
Reynolds assumed his current position in 2017, following the expansion of Duke Energy’s economic development team to include electrification strategy. Prior to this role he worked across several teams within Duke Energy Renewables and distributed energy technology including national accounts marketing, commercial solar project finance, utility-scale solar development, battery storage and electric vehicles.
Lang joined Duke Energy in 2015 following completion of his MBA at the University of Colorado. Prior to business school, he worked in finance for Morgan Stanley. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Swarthmore College.
