NIST SC3 Supercluster on Data

I’m currently Co-chair of the NIST Supercluster on Data focused on creating a blueprint and guidance for Smart Cites. My focus as Entrepreneur in Residence is to use lean startup methodologies to prove or disprove an innovations value proposition. I’ve led solution teams comprised of Industry leaders, innovators and Community stakeholders interested in improving transit, air quality awareness, energy demand-response and rural broadband. I designed and developed one of the first business models for broadband services based on fixed wireline connections. I’ve service as consultant to Microsoft, Itron as well as small and mid-sized organizations.

Today, my focus at the NIST SuperCluster on Data is facilitating the open sharing and documenting solutions to complex challenges facing many communities across the world.  My background is in hardware and software designs from industrial IoT to blockchain and machine learning systems.
