Eliza Hotchkiss is a Technical Project Lead at NREL leading disaster recovery, resilience, and sustainable development efforts. Her focus is on analysis and outreach to increase deployment of sustainable, clean energy technologies and best practices at all levels of government for sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems. As part of a team of experts deployed across the nation to support FEMA with disaster recovery, Eliza has seen the impacts of natural disasters and contributed to numerous recovery and preparedness plans domestically and internationally. Prior to joining NREL, Eliza lived and worked in England supporting development and implementation of building performance standards for the European Union among other duties.
