Rita Gass leads digital transformation, cybersecurity strategy, and smart-city initiatives for the City of Rancho Cordova. Joining the city in 2023, she spearheaded an enterprise digital roadmap focused on AI-driven citizen services, cloud migration, and tech upgrades to enhance public safety and community engagement. Prior to her role in Rancho Cordova, she held high-level technology and security posts in California State Government, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Employment Development Department (EDD).
