Kenneth Payne has over 15 years of experience in developing and executing treatment goals to help underprivileged youth, who have experienced extreme trauma. Kenneth is a proud Alumni of Kentucky State University, where he received a B.A. degree in criminal justice. Kenneth is currently pursuing a Masters in Social work, with a focus in Community and Social Development at University of Kentucky. Prior to joining ONE Lexington Kenneth spent 6 years as a counselor and supervisor of a Youth Facility where he was responsible for the oversight of program operations and providing direct on-the-job training and supervision to all Youth Care Associates and Youth Specialists. Kenneth then transitioned to CHFS as a social worker and served on the permanency team where he provided family and community-based services, including child protection, adoption services, and guardian services for persons that are disabled or residential treatment for emotionally disturbed and behavioral children with disorders. Kenneth remained with CHFS for 9 years before accepting the position with ONE Lexington as the Crisis Response Coordinator.
