Crystal brings over 34 years of transportation planning,
mobility and project management expertise to her work. She began her career
with New Jersey Transit in Newark, New Jersey, where she built a strong
foundation in long term transit planning and had an understanding of railroad
supportive operations. She later joined Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP) in
Baltimore, Maryland, collaborating with teams across the Baltimore and
Washington, DC region on a wide range of transportation planning and mobility projects.
Since joining the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M‑NCPPC),
Crystal has served in multiple leadership and planning roles within the
Countywide Planning Division, contributing technical knowledge, collaborative
spirit, and long-term vision to the agency’s mission.
A proud Philadelphian at heart — Go Eagles, Sixers,
Flyers, and Phillies! — Crystal’s life outside of work is filled with
family and community. She has converted her husband to a transit geek, loves
cheering on her son as he plays college basketball and supporting her daughter at
high school cheer events. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending
quality time with family and friends.
