Maryland Governor's Office of Business Advancement (GOBA)
The son of Cuban immigrants, Luis O. Cardona is a bilingual strategist working at the forefront of equitable economic development. With a diverse background across city and state government, financial services, and non-profit advocacy, he currently directs the State of Maryland's top business troubleshooting office: the Governor's Office of Business Advancement (GOBA). Prior to joining state government, Luis Ied economic development initiatives for the eastern half of Baltimore City and directed Hispanic business development at the City's economic development agency.
