
Ishu is a Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellow, leading the City of Green Bay's innovation and data strategy. Appointed by Mayor Genrich, he drives the City's approach to data, AI, and capacity building - helping to tackle strategic priorities with fresh ideas and cross-functional solutions. As part of the Mayor's office, Ishu and the team develop forward-thinking policies and projects to benefit residents and strengthen public services.
Prior to his current role, Ishu served as an action researcher at IIM Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Democracy, focusing on policy implementation, state capacity, and public leadership. He takes a people-centered approach to research and initiative-building, believing that true impact comes from inclusive, community-driven efforts.
In addition to his public-sector work, Ishu founded two organizations (in 2011 and 2020) aimed at helping young adults access education and reach their full potential. He holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
