Marie Arcos is the Chief Government and Community Affairs Officer of Compudopt, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. In her role, Marie builds robust relationships with key policymakers and community leaders who play an instrumental role in advancing digital opportunities nationwide. 

Marie brings over 32 years of leadership to Compudopt, including leadership in directing government relations at local, state and federal levels to help advance policy initiatives in education, health and economic mobility. Before joining the executive leadership team, Marie served on Compudopt's Board of Directors from 2022 to 2024. Prior to Compudopt, Marie's passion for service was apparent through her more than two decades of service at the YMCA of Greater Houston, where she became the first Chief Government Relations Officer and the first Latina on the executive team.

As a lifelong Houstonian committed to serving the community, Marie is also a senior fellow with the American Leadership Forum and serves on the boards of several local organizations, including the Texas Gulf Coast Workforce Board, the Mayor's Hispanic Advisory Board, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and more.
