Kate Tillotson is the founder and principal of The Beacon Group, a strategic PR firm advising leaders across the energy and infrastructure sectors. A former television journalist, she brings more than 20 years of experience spanning journalism, media, and executive communications. Previously, Tillotson served as Senior Manager of Media Relations at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, where she led national media strategy for its 900 U.S. members. She began her career in broadcast news, holding on-air roles at CBS and NBC affiliates in Michigan, Georgia, and Montana, and earned national recognition for investigative and feature reporting. She holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
