Condell Hamilton

Condell Hamilton serves as First Deputy Comptroller for the City of Mount Vernon, where he provides enterprise-level administrative and financial leadership across a complex, multi-department, and multi-fund municipal organization. In this role, he oversees accounts payable operations and plays a central role in the development, execution, and stewardship of the City’s annual budget. Mr. Hamilton is instrumental in advancing the Comptroller’s mission to promote fiscal responsibility, transparency, and operational efficiency across all municipal financial functions.

Prior to entering public service, Mr. Hamilton built a strong financial and operational foundation over a 17-year career at JPMorgan Chase, where he held a variety of roles spanning retail banking and corporate operations. His combined private- and public-sector experience informs a strategic, disciplined, and results-oriented approach to municipal finance and governance.

Mr. Hamilton remains deeply committed to public service, upholding the highest standards of accountability, integrity, and stewardship in service to the residents of Mount Vernon—both inside and outside of City Hall.
