Lynette Hall is the Community Engagement Manager for the City of Sacramento, leading a team of 8 staff focused on creating strategies that engage, educate, and empower the community. She co-leads transformative initiatives, such as a national cohort with PolicyLink to reform fines and fees disproportionately affecting marginalized communities and plays a key role in the CityStart Initiative funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, which aims to bridge the wealth gap for Black residents. Lynette oversees the Community Engagement Team, Language Access Program, Volunteer Services Program, and the Financial Empowerment Center.

Renowned for her innovative practices, Lynette has received multiple awards for her outreach efforts, including local and state recognition for the award-winning Community Ambassador Program. As co-leader of the Neighborhood Development Action Team (NDAT), she works to build a sustainable, inclusive economy for Sacramento.

Her passion for fostering strong communities extends beyond her professional role. She has been honored with the 2022 NAACP Women in Leadership Award and the 2020 Sacramento Cultural Hub Exceptional Woman of Color Award, among others. Lynette previously served as Senior Supply Chain Responsibility Manager at PG&E, where she managed programs that allocated over $2.5 billion to diverse and veteran-owned businesses. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and is a proud mother to her daughter, Gabrielle.
