Rick Lisa is responsible for Intel America’s sales and marketing programs, go-to-market strategies, and business development efforts (both direct and indirect) for the Internet of Things, Smart Infrastructure, and Machine to Machine (M2M) market opportunities as part of the Internet of Things Group (IoTG) Business Unit (BU) Sales Organization. Rick’s efforts build the framework for the IoT promotional activities including channel engagement methods, ecosystems development, partner co-selling strategy, and new business creation/development for Intel’s IoTG. His efforts focus specifically on IoT/M2M applications and those applications where embedded multi-communications are considered a functional requirement.
Prior to his current position, Rick held senior business development, sales, and marketing leadership positions managing both direct and channel sales activities for prominent semiconductor products companies spanning a 34-year career in the embedded market. His work experience includes positions with Motorola Semiconductor (now Freescale and On Semiconductor), Fairchild Semiconductor, Sipex Semiconductor (now Exar), Advanced Micro Devices and Anadigics. His work experience has afforded him the opportunity to work in a wide variety of market application segments spanning a diverse set of vertical industries incorporating computing, processing, communications, and power management technologies in embedded applications worldwide.
