Dr. Robert Riegle is the President of Sub Rosa Ventures, a privately-held information technology solutions provider serving government and commercial clients in the physical & information security and threat sensing markets. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Metisentry, LLC placing advanced technology in the National Security Community. Mr. Riegle has performed work in North America, South America, Central America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Dr. Riegle has developed security solutions for National Security Agencies, US Dept. of Homeland Security and Law Enforcement organizations worldwide. Mr. Riegle is nationally recognized leader in Strategic Communications with over 50 public engagements relating to the formulation of communications strategies for the purposes of threat mitigation. He presently leads and manages business development across three major lines of business and leads market strategies for product and capability placement. Dr. Riegle has developed security solutions for National Security, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement professionals. Mr. Riegle is a highly regarded expert in domestic intelligence sharing between federal and state and local governments. He has corporate C-Suite experience as Senior Vice President for Business Development at ACADEMI, LLC (Formerly BLACKWATER. Inc.), a privately-held training and security solutions provider serving government and commercial industries worldwide. Prior to serving as SVP for ACADEMI, he was the President and CEO of StratCorp managing large Government information operations contracts in at-risk regions around the globe.
BIOGRAPHY ROBERT C. RIEGLE Additionally, he co-founded Mission Concepts, Inc., a Washington DC based management consulting firm focused on information management for threat deterrence. As a Government leader, Dr. Riegle served as the Director of the State and Local Government Program Office within the Office of Intelligence & Analysis in The U.S. Department of Homeland Security. As a Senior Intelligence Officer in DHS Mr. Riegle spearheaded the development of intelligence sharing relationships concerning many State and Local Government Fusion Centers and was a co-lead for the DHS-wide effort to formalize policy concerning Fusion Center Relationships. Mr. Riegle is recognized nationally as an expert in Civil Liberties and Civil Rights compliance relating to Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement domestic threat mitigation efforts and has testified numerous times before Congress concerning Constitutional Privilege issues. Dr. Riegle entered the Senior Executive Service in 2007 after nearly fifteen years of Government employment. Mr. Riegle served as the DHS representative to the Department of Justice’s Global Justice Initiative, the Co-chair of the National Fusion Center Coordination Group and as an advisory member of the Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council. Prior to working at DHS Mr. Riegle worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Strategic Communications Area; the Defense Intelligence Agency as a National Intelligence Support Team (NIST) Intelligence Specialist, serving in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle; Chevy Chase Bank as a Corporate Vice-President; and Indeck Power Overseas Ltd. as the Regional Manager – Pacific Rim. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America – Columbus School of Law. Mr. Riegle has numerous military awards and decorations including two Combat Action Ribbons, The Joint Commendation Medal, The Joint Achievement Medal, and four Navy Achievement Medals. He is a member of the UDT/Seal Association, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, the American Bar Association, and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans Association. He serves as a member of the NDIA Advisory Board to Wright-Patterson AFB, and as an Advisory Board member to the National Small Business Association (NSBA). Mr. Riegle lives in Hudson Ohio with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast.
