Leahy Center for Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity & Champlain College

Manager of The Leahy Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at Champlain College, Ryan oversees all research, projects, and grants at the center. Leahy Center provides unique opportunities for students to work alongside industry expert faculty/staff on real-world client work and hands-on research including focus areas in IoT forensics, threat simulation, virtualization environments, vulnerability research, and beyond. The Leahy Center has partnered with organizations like the United States Secret Service's NCFI (National Computer Forensics Institute), NW3C (National White Collar Crime Center), NSA's GenCyber, and many more! On top of this, The Leahy Center offers subsidized cybersecurity services to numerous small to medium sized businesses throughout Vermont.

Passionate about staying hands-on with research and providing excellent experiential learning opportunities for the next generation of cybersecurity rockstars, Ryan is always looking for new opportunities and cutting-edge projects to take on.

Also an adjunct professor in Cybersecurity at Champlain, Ryan teaches DevOps & Enterprise Virtualization at Champlain College. With a passion for bolstering tomorrow's cybersec workforce, he is also program coordinator for The Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics Summer Academy at Champlain.
Previously as a project Manager, Ryan led a team dedicated to designing automated threat simulations. He also has experience as a Security Engineer, delivering services to Vermont organizations.
