Aby Alexander is the founder of BroadSat Technologies, driving next-generation connectivity using ATSC 3.0, 5G Broadcast, and broadband standards. His mission is to bridge the digital divide by delivering television, telemedicine, remote learning, emergency alerts, and Smart City solutions with Ai enabled Edge Caching solutions. He leads the development of the ICON product line—AI-powered Edge Computing platforms for secure content delivery and communications over broadcast infrastructure.

Previously, Aby served as President & CEO of Thomson Broadcast Americas, where he led strategy, M&A, and operations across the U.S. and Latin America. He spearheaded the $175M acquisition of GatesAir, positioning Thomson as a global leader in broadcast infrastructure. He also pioneered the “Channel in the Cloud” platform and helped launch ATSC 3.0 applications for the broadcast and telecom industry. A seasoned technology entrepreneur, Aby co-founded eXstream Solutions and eXstream Security, building AI-enabled communications and cybersecurity platforms. He launched Cyber360, a real-time cyber risk solution, and developed streaming media applications for e-learning, VOIP, and secure enterprise networks. Aby holds an MBA and cybersecurity from the University of New Hampshire and MIT. He serves on the International Council Board of Harvard University’s JFK School of Government and is affiliated with the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. He also serves on the board of Spectral Capital (NASDAQ: FCCN), and has held board roles at GatesAir, Thomson Broadcast, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Museum of Science Boston. He is the author of Blockchain Simplified and AI Unplugged, A Truth behind the algorithm and a Podcast.
