Smart Columbus Workshop: Open Source in the Public Sector Built for One, Open to All.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1 P.M. — 3 P.M.

Join Smart Columbus Program Manager, Mandy Bishop for a workshop hosted in partnership with Smart Cities Connect.

Everyone is seeking new and better ways to manage and apply their data to solve the problems they face. When we won the smart cities challenge the federal government chose us to demonstrate how to become smart.  At the center of a smart city is data… enter the Smart Columbus Operating system – a holistic integrated data exchange where data from multiple sectors can be securely collected, aggregated, published and used to power solutions for communities. It solves complex challenges that aren't adequately addressed by traditional data processing solutions.

Today, the Smart Columbus Operating system fuels the technology deployments within the US Department of Transportation Smart City Challenge grant scope. It shares data that will inspire entrepreneurs and developers to create Columbus' mobility services of the future. Tomorrow, the open source code could transform how your city, agency or organization leverages data to make more informed decisions and solutions.

Who should attend? Innovators working in or with the public sector

What will you learn? Attendees will learn how to use tools and methodologies to get diverse groups of stakeholders to solve real-world problems with social and civic value.

Please express your interest to attend to MKH@columbuspartnership.com, after which you will receive registration details and a detailed agenda.
