Drew Morrison is the Policy Advisor for Planning and Project Development in the Secretary’s Office of the Maryland Department of Transportation. He also serves as the Acting Director of MDOT’s Washington Area Transit Office. In these roles, Drew oversees MDOT’s WMATA portfolio and coordinates multimodal transportation policy and projects. Drew previously worked at VHB, a planning and engineering firm, where he managed large-scale infrastructure projects and policy initiatives. He also served at the Montgomery County Council as a transportation, energy, and environment aide. Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Yale and master’s degrees in city planning and business administration from MIT.
